The Faculty of Education- Department of Education (FIP-JIP) Forum is a scientific meeting forum organized by the Faculty of Education and Department of Education in Indonesia. Through this forum, leaders, lecturers, researchers, and all academics from the Faculty of Education and the Department of Education can express ideas, exchange ideas and experiences, related to the development of education science and education policies in order to contribute to solving educational issues and improving the quality of education in Indonesia. Through the forum, various scientific activities are held, both on a national and international scale that could encourage lecturers and students to give deliver and publish the results of their work, whether in the form of papers, books, research findings, or other forms.

Prof. H. Mohamad Nasir , Ak , Ph.D , (born in Ngawi, June 27, 1960 ; age 58 years) is the Minister of Technology Research and Higher Education in the Work Cabinet (2014–2019). Previously he was elected Chancellor of Diponegoro University, Semarang for the 2014–2018 period until he was appointed Minister on October 26, 2014, and Professor of Behavioral Accounting and Management Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University, Semarang, Central Java. Previously he was known as a Budget Expert and professional accountant.
Prof. Dr. Muhajir Effendy, MAP (born in Madiun , East Java , July 29, 1956 ; age 62 years) is the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia in the Working Cabinet who served since July 27, 2016 replacing Anies Baswedan. In addition he also took several courses abroad including at National Defense University , Washington, DC in 1993, and at Victoria University, British Columbia, Canadain 1991. Muhadjir is currently listed as a Professor of Sociology in the Department of Education Outside the School of Education , State University of Malang . In addition, he also taught at the Postgraduate Directorate of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang in the field of Sociology.
Is a passionate competences enhancer. He has over 20 years’ extensive experience on international development project activities in several roles: project initiator, project coordinator, external evaluator and consultant. Mr. Lappalainen has profound experience in assessment and quality assurance of international development projects. He has a Master in Social Sciences degree and he holds a Certificate of Competence-Based Personal Evaluation, acknowledged by the Finnish Psychological Association.In addition to his career in universities, Mr. Lappalainen has been working 8 years as a full-time entrepreneur in Project Cycle Management consultation business and 2 years as a Senior Consultant in international Public Affairs and Communications sector. Since2011, Harri Lappalainen has actively been developing the Innovation Pedagogy learning approach in his current Senior Advisor position in the Turku University of Applied Sciences (Finland).At the moment, Mr. Lappalainen is heavily involved in several global pedagogical development projects. During recent years he has given numerous conference presentations, lectures and workshops about Innovation Pedagogy in Europe, South-East Asia and Africa.
Margaret Grogan is Dean of the Attallah College of Educational Studies, Chapman University, California. Originally from Australia, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ancient History and Japanese Language from the University of Queensland. She taught high school in Australia and was a teacher and an administrator at the International School of the Sacred Heart, Tokyo, where she lived for 17 years. After graduating from Washington State University with a PhD in Educational Administration, she taught educational leadership and policy at the University of Virginia and at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Among the various leadership positions she has held at her institutions and professional organizations, she served as Dean of the School of Educational Studies at Claremont Graduate University from 2008-2012, Chair of the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Missouri-Columbia, 2002-2008, and President of the University Council for Educational Administration in 2003/2004. A frequent keynote speaker, she has also published many articles and chapters and has authored, co-authored, or edited six books including Women and Educational Leadership (with Charol Shakeshaft, 2011). Her current research focuses on women in leadership, gender and education, the moral and ethical dimensions of leadership, and leadership for social justice.
Rohaida Mohd. is the dean and also a professor of the Faculty of Education, Department of Mathematics and Science Education, Faculty of Education, University of Malaya, and she is currently the dean at the faculty. Prior joining University of Malaya, she has served as an Assistant Director at Curriculum Development Centre, Ministry of Education, Malaysia between 1988 to 1997. She received her Bachelor Degree and Master degree from Indiana University, USA and PhD degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her area of specialization and research is in science education, teacher education, curriculum development, and qualitative research methodology. She has headed several researches, particularly in the area of science education funded by various agencies. She has authored and co-authored several books, articles and research reports in the area of science education and education in general. She has also served as an Advisory Committee Member for the Stepping into Science International Quarterly, Editorial Board Member of Eurasia Journal of Science, Mathematics and Technology Education, European Journal of STEM Education and Journal of Science and Mathematics in Southeast Asia. She is a trained auditor and she also serves as ASEAN University Network (AUN) academic programme assessor.
